When Rosie called us, she wanted a centrepiece hog roast for us to make pigs in buns for most of her guests but she also wanted to make sure that others could be catered. There would be a couple of people who didn’t eat pork and a vegetarian invited too, so we went through our many possibilities with Rosie. We don’t only cook hog roasts here at Hog Roast Ibstock though they are our signature dish, as we want to cater for everyone, so you can choose a spit-roasted meat instead of a hog roast or even in addition to one. We could alternatively cook you a barbecue or our amazing Southern Slow Roast Menu, and we have all kinds of options for vegetarians, vegans and those with a gluten intolerance or allergy.

Rosie was happy with us cooking some fresh, local chicken for the guests who didn’t eat pork and with us making our veggie skewers for the vegetarian. With the latter, we grill skewered pieces of halloumi and various vegetables and then serve with pitta bread and our Tzatziki dip and they always go down very well. 

Hog Roast Ibstock cooked up a storm for Rosie and her 40 guests on the day of her birthday celebration in a friend’s pub garden. We filled some hungry tummies with plenty of pigs in bins, but we also impressed with our chicken and skewers, too, as everybody loved our food.
