It’s not every day that we get to help our clients celebrate two milestone events at once, but recently the Hog Roast Bottesford customer service team received a call from Jessica who had big plans to combine her vow renewals with husband Simon, and their little one’s christening. With 150 guests set to attend the memorable event as well as two ceremonies to keep track of, we think you’ll agree that the last thing Jessica needed to be worrying about was serving food and cleaning up afterwards – but thankfully, with our friendly event staff on hand to handle the stresses of catering, she didn’t have to!
Choosing to host their joint celebration at Normanton Le Heath’s picturesque Manor Farm which is a traditional-style barn conversion, the couple decided that our classic hog roast menu would be the perfect addition to their doubly special day – and we couldn’t agree more! With a selection of succulent meats to choose from, as well as an array of freshly-made gluten-free bread rolls, wraps and sauces for guests to experiment with their own flavour combinations, this menu has remained a firm favourite among our clients for years.
While the happy couple were reaffirming their vows and christening their baby, the Hog Roast Bottesford team, led catering manager Martin, made their way to the reception venue at midday where they began preparations for the evening’s meal by allowing the whole pig to slow roast on a bed of savoury stuffing. Following an emotional afternoon, the guests began arriving at Manor Farm where they were keen to dig into the delicious food that had been cooking all day; and when Jessica and her hubby were presented with the buffet of rosemary seasoned spring lamb, locally sourced free-range chicken, sirloin of roast beef, gourmet sausages, meaty marinated spare ribs and a vegetarian alternative of grilled vegetable and haloumi skewers, served with pitta breads and a tzatziki dip, they were blown away to say the least.
We’ve recently heard back from Jessica who wanted to thank the Hog Roast Bottesford team again for helping her to pull off the dual celebration which will no doubt be the talk of the town for years to come!
