Hog Roast Rearsby recently had the pleasure of turning Erika and Jack’s backyard into a feast-filled wonderland for Toby’s christening!
With little Toby keeping them on their toes and his older siblings adding to the excitement, the exhausted parents wisely opted for a stress-free celebration right at home. And boy, did they luck out with the weather—bright sunshine and a balmy 22 degrees set the stage for a picture-perfect afternoon! While Erika and Jack focused on the ceremony at the church, Hog Roast Rearsby swung into action in their garden. Byron, our maestro of meat, fired up the hog roast for the 40 hungry adults and whipped up a mountain of chicken nuggets and chips to keep the 14 kids smiling from ear to ear. The tantalising scent of roasting pork filled the air, drawing guests like bees to honey as they arrived.
The hungry guests wasted no time lining up for a taste of our mouthwatering fare. Our expert carvers skillfully sliced and served tender pulled pork on gluten-free buns, accompanied by crackling, stuffing, and applesauce—talk about a flavour explosion! Fresh, seasonal salads, zesty coleslaw, tomato and mozzarella salad, and herb-dressed new potatoes added bursts of colour and freshness to the table while the grilled vegetable skewers were a hit with vegetarians and meat lovers alike, disappearing in no time.
Meanwhile, the kids were in chicken nugget heaven, munching away happily and fueling their energy for the party games and laughter that filled the garden. It was a day brimming with joy and relaxed vibes exactly as Erika and Jack had hoped, and with Hog Roast Rearsby seamlessly managing everything from setup to cleanup. As the sun began to set on their perfect day, Erika and Jack could breathe easy, knowing Hog Roast Rearsby had taken care of every detail. They could focus on cherishing moments with their loved ones and soaking in the happiness of Toby’s special day. It was an event filled with warmth, delicious food, and cherished memories—a celebration we were honoured to be part of.
