The versatility of the Hog Roast Leicester team and service has always been a huge strength of ours across the several decades that we have provided corporate catering to businesses across the UK.
Many of course will know Hog Roast Leicester as the folks behind the famed hog roast – the very best in catering. Most customers, both private and corporate, will come to us for that exact hog roast dining experience, knowing it is what we have exceled at for decades. But this is catering, and in this industry you always have to be able to give the customer exactly what they are looking for. It is, after all, the very root of the word catering.
So when the team at Marshall Cupra and SEAT Leicester came to us looking for something of a different speed to our staple hog roast, rather than pointing them elsewhere we took up the challenge with plenty excitement.
As you might see in our expansive menus, covering weddings, private parties and corporate events, we have the capabilities for numerous different dishes and dining styles. The thing to look out for here is our canapes selection, which though small bitesize, shows that exact variety in abundance. One of the most popular dishes we have there is our mini fish and chip cones – a small but tasty snapshot of what we could do if we ran a chip shop style catering service.
Well that snapshot is all that was needed for the Marshall team to ask for more. Rather than our hog roast menu for their staff event, it was battered fish goujons, mushy peas, and freshly made chips. Thanks to our canape, we have the capability already – we just had to make the dishes bigger! We also provided a veggie alternative of Quorn fish fillets, also served with fresh chips and mushy peas.
We were delighted to see a very positive reception for this different style of menu for Hog Roast Leicester. Perhaps we’ll just have to think about expanding our repertoire even more; rename to Fish and Chips Leicester!
