Alana turned 18 this June and wanted to enjoy a birthday celebration in the form of a party, with all of her friends and family. Her parents had planned a surprise party for Alana, as they knew that she wanted a big party with a luxury theme and live music. For the catering, Hog Roast Donington le Heath was asked to provide a buffet for the guests, with something for meat-free and gluten-free guests to enjoy. After looking through our menus, the parents decided on our classic hog roast menu and our catering manager Lee was more than happy to get to work!
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Donington le Heath team worked hard during the daytime to prepare the catering for the 8:00 pm mealtime. We began by roasting the hog and ensuring that it was cooked to perfection, along with BBQ pulled jackfruit for vegetarian guests. The mains were served in fresh bread rolls, with gluten-free rolls available upon request. As well as our delicious mains, we also provided seasonal salad dishes, homemade chips, and sweet potato fries.
When Alana arrived at her birthday party it was great to see her surprise as so many of her friends and family were in attendance. Our catering went down a treat and there was plenty to go around, including something for every guest to enjoy. The slow-roasted hog menu was a great addition to the evening and prepared the guests to dance the night away!
