2021 has passed us by in a flash, and so, once again, we’re preparing to raise a glass to the start of a brand new year, which we hope will bring good fortune and great experiences your way!
As you can probably imagine, with the time for celebration inching ever closer, our team here at Hog Roast Battleflat have been snowed under with catering requests from locals looking to end 2021 on a high note. From parties in the workplace and cosy nights spent at home with the family, all the way to lively discos, our crew will certainly be kept busy in the days leading up to 2022 – and we wouldn’t change it for the world!
One event we’re particularly looking forward to, which will see us into the New Year, has been organised by pub owner, Alan. The event he has planned will take place at his best-loved boozer, where over 100 ticket holders will come together to mark the start of another year. For the occasion, he has hired an up-and-coming band to play a set of their original tracks and to keep everyone well-fed and satisfied, Hog Roast Battleflat has been asked to serve one of our sublime menus.
Anticipating a rowdy crowd and an excitable atmosphere, Alan has chosen our Classic Hog Roast Menu for the occasion, which is the simplest catering solution we have to offer. It’s great for events like these, where guests will appreciate having the freedom and flexibility to move around and socialise, which our throwaway crockery and cutlery allows due to its lightweight composition. The hog roast rolls themselves, which consist of shredded pork, crackling, sage and onion stuffing, applesauce and salad on gluten-free or wholemeal rolls, are also ideal for this reason. But knowing that not everyone is a fan of meat, the client also made sure to ask us for a vegan option of grilled veggie kebabs with flatbreads and tzatziki dip, which will ensure everyone is kept happy on the day.
Alan and his guests can hardly wait for the day of the party to arrive, and right now, his pub’s social media pages are abuzz with talk about the night. More specifically, how much they’re all looking forward to hearing the band play and tasting Hog Roast Battleflat’s delicious slow-roasted pork rolls!
