Tom had put in many months of hard work, countless hours of overtime, and had gone above and beyond at his job; until, finally, his dedication paid off – he recently received the fantastic news that the life-changing promotion he had been striving towards was his!
Filled with pride and wanting to mark this significant achievement, Tom’s wife, Charlotte, set out to plan a special party. She wanted to show Tom just how happy she was for him and give him an excuse to relax and let his hair down after working tirelessly for so long.
The party went ahead last Saturday with 20 guests gathered at the couple’s home to celebrate, and Hog Roast Newtown Linford was there to ensure everyone was well fed.
Handling this booking was Hog Roast Newtown Linford’s experienced catering manager, Byron. Arriving hours before the party, Byron wasted no time in setting up our catering gazebo and getting to work on preparing a feast fit for the occasion.
Using our reliable grill, he slow-roasted a full-sized pig until the skin was beautifully golden and crispy. Alongside the succulent pork, Byron prepared our famous sage and onion stuffing and applesauce, as well as a variety of sides including seasonal mixed salad, homemade gourmet coleslaw, tomato and mozzarella salad, and herb-dressed new potatoes.
Catering to the dietary preferences of the two vegetarian guests, Byron also whipped up our delicious BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls, offering a sweet and smoky meat-free alternative. With the buffet set and the aroma of freshly cooked food filling the air, it was time for Charlotte to raise a toast to her husband and invite the guests to dig in.
As everyone gathered around the buffet, it was clear that Hog Roast Newtown Linford had hit the mark. The guests couldn’t get enough of the delicious spread, and Tom was beaming with pride and gratitude for the party Charlotte had organised in his honour. It was the perfect opportunity for him to unwind and let loose.
