Harriet recently contacted Hog Roast Cranoe to arrange catering for an event that she is planning on hosting in March of 2024. The event will be a gathering at her home in Leicestershire for 40 of her friends and family to enjoy, look forward to spring and celebrate the end of another cold winter. The party will include a delicious meal served by our catering manager Byron. When discussing the menus, it was decided that a classic hog roast would be ideal, since it is a hearty and delicious meal that tastes great all year long!
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Cranoe team will arrive at Harriet’s home in Leicestershire in the morning to give us plenty of time to prepare for the 6:00pm serving time. We will begin by slow-roasting the hog, which will need around five hours to roast to perfection. Once ready, it will be expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For meat-free guests, we will also be providing tasty veggie sausages in bread rolls to create hot dogs. Additionally, the guests can enjoy a variety of side dishes, including homemade chips, sweet potato fries, gourmet coleslaw, and a selection of seasonal salad dishes. The Hog Roast Cranoe team is looking forward to this event since it will mean that spring is on the way, bringing with it many more fun events like this one!
