This weekend was another jam-packed one for Hog Roast Quorn. As you may know, weddings are one of our favourite types of events to cater at. We love to see all of the happy couples friends and family gather together for a day of celebrations and good food and always go above and beyond to do all we can to contribute to making the day as special as possible.
However, this weekend was a different sort of wedding event. A wedding fair! For those who don’t know a wedding, fair is a whole day event where future brides and grooms along with their wedding parties come to sample different caterers, venues, dresses, suits and decorations and see what is out there for their big day.
Not only is a wedding fair a chance for us to showcase our wedding catering business to members of the public but we also see it as a valuable opportunity to network with fellow suppliers and it’s often how we get to make a lot of our contacts in the wedding world. Due to this, when you hire Hog Roast Quorn to cater your wedding reception or breakfast, we are often able to recommend and plan other aspects of your day due to our extensive network and relationships with suppliers.
At today’s wedding fair we were lucky to be situated in the main hall and got to have a full view of all the other local business around us. We are of course out to impress on days like today, so our Hog Roast Quorn chef had handcrafted some of our most decadent canapes that we were handing out around the venue. We were also hard at work cooking a hog roast to serve at lunchtime after all the guests in attendance had endured the mouth-watering aroma of the meat slowly cooking away for a few hours…
