Clients Zoe and John were thrilled to contact the Hog Roast Hucknall about catering their wedding. The loved up couple wanted a tasty buffet for their wedding that was taking place at Halloween and was of course, complete with a Halloween theme.
The venue for the wedding reception was a converted barn and offered their 28 guests plenty of space to eat and dance. The Chef from Hog Roast Hucknall arrived at the stunningly set up venue by midday so he could set up the catering equipment and get to work on creating the buffet. It was a lovely and warm, very picturesque place for Chef Lee to put the buffet together. He enjoyed looking at the little jack’o lanterns and pumpkin confetti and bunting that decorated the space.
Chef Lee created the wedding meal specifically to the client’s wishes. Zoe and John worked closely with the Hog Roast Hucknall team to put together their bespoke wedding catering package, which was a menu full of dishes they loved and the use of Hog Roast Hucknall’s finest china crockery and cutlery for the event.
Experienced Chef Lee created every dish for the buffet from scratch, this included the main attraction at the buffet serving table- spit roasted spring lamb which was seasoned with rosemary and served with mint and a mustard and dill sauce. Also on offer at the buffet was a tasty vegetarian alternative. To go with this there was also lots of piping hot seasonal vegetables, 3 types of tasty salads and two types of potato dishes: warm new potatoes in an herb butter and toasty hot jacket potatoes.
The wedding menu was hearty and full of lots of choice for the guests to tuck into. Newlywed Clients Zoe and John were visibly delighted with the delicious spread that Chef Lee had put together for them and their guests.
After the food had been thoroughly enjoyed by the ravenous guests Lee from the Hog Roast Hucknall team quietly tidied away. He took with him all rubbish from the catering element of the event and it was responsibly disposed of by the team.
The team later received a glowing review from Zoe and John, they were thrilled with the buffet that had been created for their special day.
