Cooking and serving out our foods is of course the main piece of the experience that every guest and customer is looking to, but part of what makes up their expectations in the end is the presentation – and here at Hog Roast Loughborough, we value it immensely!
We are lucky as an event caterer, because a lot of the heavy lifting is done by our signature dish already. Hog roasting itself is almost equal parts style and presentation, equal parts delicious roast goodness. At Hog Roast Loughborough we like to cook in the authentic spit style at your events for exactly this reason. There are few better ways of presenting a meal than as a whole hog roast coming straight off a spit that has been turning and blazing away for the last 6-8 hours. It is exactly why we come back to it again and again as our specialist dish for the last twenty plus years, and why we will be hoping to do it again for another twenty more.
But we also do much more for our presentation too at your events. One of our favourite go-to’s for when we really want to up the ante on an event and bring a lot of colour and style to our dining is our antipasti grazing table. Just an entire end to end table filled to the brim with bright and colourful meats, cheeses, salads, wraps, and breads. This is one where we’ve taken the nod from the way the Italians do it and gone with very fine Italian meats, finely sliced by our expert chefs, and paired with Italian cheeses and zesty and aromatic dipping oils. It looks incredible when guests come out to see the entire table arrangement prepared for them. The only difficulty is that it looks so beautiful that do don’t want to disturb it, but it is so delicious that you can’t not want to!
