Recently, the Hog Roast Coalville team were hired by Jane for an 18th birthday party. The event was being hosted in her garden, at her home in Leicestershire, as the weather was fantastic. All of the food was seasoned by hand by the team’s chefs and all of the meat was carved professionally by them. They also prepared and cooked all of the food onsite to ensure that all the ingredients tasted fresh. The team cleared all of their equipment and waste away quickly and discreetly at the end of the service.
The Hog Roast Coalville team served a whole slow roasted hog as the centrepiece of the buffet table, which had been cooked in one of the team’s Hog Master machines onsite. The team arrived at the venue served hours before the service so that they could cook all of their food perfectly. The team served apple sauce, crackling and homemade stuffing to compliment the tender hog meat. A vegetarian option of grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers which were served with pitta breads and a tzatziki dip was also served as well as a vegan option without halloumi to ensure that all of Jane’s guests were catered for. A selection of sides were also served on the buffet table including a fresh tomato and mozzarella salad, crunchy coleslaw, pasta salad and jacket potato wedges. They also served a selection of sauces as well as bread rolls and wraps.
The service was led by the Hog Roast Coalville team’s chefs, Lee and Dan, who led a fantastic service which helped to create a fantastic atmosphere at the party. The team were really friendly to the guests and delivered a really smooth service. The food was served during the early evening for 4:30pm onwards so it was important that there was plenty of food to go around as the buffet replaced the guests’ evening meal. The buffet was served to 42 guests from which the team received great feedback on the quality and quantity of food. Jane was really impressed with the service that the team delivered for her event.
