Recently, the Hog Roast Coalville team were hired by Chris for his private event which he was hosting at his home in Hugglescote. Chris was hoping to host his event in his garden and was lucky that the weather was good so he could have his event outdoors. The food was served as a buffet which was freshly prepared by the Hog Roast Coalville team on site. The team arrived several hours in advance to ensure that all of the food was ready on time and so the team did not have to rush the buffet. After the service, the team packed up quickly and discreetly cleared away the waste from the buffet so the client could relax and enjoy their event.
Chris selected the Hog Roast Coalville team’s Menu Three from the private party menus offered which featured BBQ ribs which were served with a selection of the team’s speciality sauces. The team served the meat with bread rolls and a range of sides including tomato and mozzarella salad, coleslaw and Casear salad. In addition, at the request of the client, the Hog Roast Coalville team also added chips and sausages to their traditional buffet spread. The food itself was served on china crockery with metal cutlery to give the buffet a more luxurious feel. In addition, a whole slow roasted hog was cooked on site in one of the team’s Hog Master machine and was carved by the team’s Catering Manager.
The Hog Roast Coalville team served their buffet to a intimate group of thirty guests who all really enjoyed their food. The buffet was an afternoon service and the food was served from 2:30pm onwards and so the guests got the best of the sun. The food was presented on the buffet table in a very professional manner with the bread being served in wicker baskets and the salads were served in bamboo bowls. The service ran really smoothly and the Catering Manager, Lee, was really proud of the service his team delivered. The host was very impressed with how professional the team’s service was and the clean presentation.
