This October, Ben and Freya were having a christening for their newborn daughter, Isabella. They had selected the church in which they wanted to be baptised, however, they had invited all the guests, that they had invited the christening, around to their house for food and drinks afterwards. However, Ben and Freya didn’t want the stress of cooking when they had to entertain so many guests. Therefore, the couple chose to hire the Hog Roast Melton Mowbray team to celebrate with their guests in their garden.
The guests said that the ceremony was beautiful and many had bought presents for the couple’s baby. After leaving the church, all the guests headed over to Ben and Freya’s house where the Hog Roast Melton Mowbray team had set up in the garden and had begun to cook a fantastic buffet for the guests. As the Hog Roast simmered away in the background, the couple shared drinks with their guests while everyone fondly met their new daughter. The couple also opened the presented they had received from their guests for Isabella in the happy, bubbly atmosphere created by the Hog Roast.
The Hog Roast Melton Mowbray team served up the buffet and all the guests eagerly filled their plates with the variety of slow-cooked and roasted food on offer. The team provided a large selection of different food from delicious sides and fresh bread rolls to spiced and flavoured meat. The guests enjoyed the food and many returned to the Hog Roast team stall for more. Despite the chilly weather, the team were still able to keep the meat warm on Hog Roast without it becoming over-cooked and dry. This allows guests to continually go back for more food during your event and creates a casual atmosphere to boost the socialising of your guests.
The christening of the couple’s daughter was a very successful celebration aided by the flexibility of the Hog Roast Melton Mowbray team as they were able to set up and begin their Hog Roast before the guests returned from the christening so the food would be ready on their arrival. The couple were extremely happy with the service and made their celebration complete.
