The festive season always brings us some of our most busiest weeks in the entire year, but with so much Christmas cheer around and great events, we can’t help but love it! Now the festive season of course may seem like a distant memory now for many of you, but for the team at Hog Roast Hose it is more or less just ending now. The Christmas period gets so busy with various staff parties and work nights out that we often have to push some of them into early January. Of course that isn’t ideal, but at least it still gives many of our customers that are looking for the deliciousness of a Hog Roast Hose festive feast the tastes they are after eventually!
But that just means we can now take the time right now as we officially wind up the festive season to reflect on what a brilliant season it has once again been. Christmas is easily one of our most favourite times of year as a caterer. While we are extremely busy, there is an added specialness to the Christmas event that you just don’t find elsewhere in the year. Everyone is in a jovial mood and looking to celebrate the end of the year, and you also get all of the added brilliance of Christmas decorations, tunes, and atmosphere for your events too. Plus, who can say not to a good ol’ golden Christmas turkey, too!
2024 was no different to the last several decades of Christmas events – only we might have found ourselves busier than ever before in our entire thirty year run as a Christmas caterer. We loved meeting up with many a workplace team and treating them for their Christmas nights out. While some Christmas parties can have the reputation of getting a bit rowdy, we found ourselves having a great time with all that came to Hog Roast Hose for their festive dining!
We also has some school parties that we enjoyed catering for, as well as some of our regular year-round customers that we love seeing again and again. If ever there was a deficiency of Christmas spirit in 2024, it certainly didn’t come from any of our events at Hog Roast Hose, that’s for sure!
