Wedding dining has to be perfect; it is one of the most important days of your life so of course you want a high-class dining experience to match. That is us at Hog Roast Hose! The latest to enjoy our extravagant dining experience for their wedding was Gina and Harry as they enjoyed their special day under the picturesque arches of a renovated barn, now turned over to be a perfect location for weddings and functions. For such a setting Hog Roast Hose brought its Sunday best, delivering our formal wedding dining package for Gina and Harry to satisfy their high tastes.
Our work began early in the day, getting the hog roast turning and prepping all of our fresh dishes for guest arrival. As guests arrived they were greeted by the Hog Roast Hose service team who offered entry drinks and rotated through the reception area with delicious canapes of handmade gourmet sausages, pan seared beef fillet, roasted duck, roasted halloumi and tomato crostini’s, Scottish smoked salmon, and chicken liver parfait. These dishes helped tide guests over while the mingled and took photos, until of course it was time to enter the grand hall and begin the speeches and dinner services.
Starters were served to guest tables, with an offering of either roasted breast of Gressingham duck, or our heritage tomato and beetroot carpaccio. Dinner was then served in more of a buffet style, however the hog roast and the lamb roast were finely carved by our chefs and served to guests while the rest of the service team also helped to serve our offerings of buttered new potatoes, veg and halloumi skewers, seasonal leaves, homemade coleslaw, and a classic Caesar salad. Sticky Toffee pudding or Tarte au citron were the choices for dessert, served to guest tables, and each served along with a healthy helping of cream.
Guests were then served tea or coffee with mints as an after-dinner palate cleanser, and Gina and Harry also wanted their three tiered wedding cake to be offered to guests shortly thereafter too (if any still had room left after such an almighty feast!). The Hog Roast Hose team, as always, were then quick to get our equipment cleaned up and packed away without so much of a trace left behind while guests presumably danced and drank long into the night!
