Training days are a common way in which companies equip their staff with new skills or give them the tools to progress in their career, but anyone who has been to one of these seminars knows all too well how exhausting they can become after just a few hours. This is why keeping your staff motivated is so important, and one way to do this is by offering them a scrumptious lunchtime treat that they can dig into before regrouping their thoughts and getting back to work.
With over two decades of experience behind us, Hog Roast Beeston has catered for more corporate events than we can count, including training retreats, which combined with our unparalleled cooking skills, makes us an unstoppable force and an exceptional choice for whatever you’ve got planned. What’s more, our catering packages can be easily tailored to suit your every need, and at a price that won’t break the bank, we guarantee you won’t be disappointed with what you receive!
So, after being asked to cook and serve our classic hog roast feast (with an additional veggie option and side dishes) for a training day which had been arranged by small-business owner, Kevin, the Hog Roast Beeston team immediately started working on the preparations. Firstly though, the catering crew made sure to put the client’s mind at ease by explaining our new COVID-friendly measures which we have been abiding by to ensure everyone’s safety, including that of our teams. Kevin was more than satisfied with our setup, and like his staff, he couldn’t wait to sink his teeth into the final result!
Kevin’s training day soon rolled around, and just as he had hoped, the knowledge of our involvement had everyone in high spirits from the moment they arrived on site. Following their third lecture of the day, the group ventured outside where the mask-clad Hog Roast Beeston team was waiting behind a show-stopping spit roasted pig with sides of mixed salad, loaded fries and crunchy coleslaw – not forgetting the veggie option of BBQ pulled jackfruit.
The food had everyone swooning and seemed to offer them the perfect respite from their busy day. Once lunch was over, the catering crew packaged up what was leftover and left it for the group to pick at before heading back to HQ.
