Hog Roast Broughton Astley Winter BBQ!

Despite being well and truly in the depths of winter now, this weekend Hog Roast Broughton Astley were surprised to be asked to provide a BBQ! It was for the dog walking groups annual get together. The reason they had asked for a BBQ even in the cold weather was so that the dogs could enjoy it too as they couldn’t find an indoor venue that would allow so many animals. It was really great to see everyone having fun together with their furry friends. The group leader, Tony, told us that they try to do at least one group walk a month but as the group’s popularity has soared its meant lots of smaller groups formed and of course lots of new friendships both human and canine were created. That’s why it was so important they all get together at least once a year to catch up with other members and keep the dogs socialising.

So, we were rusting up a winter BBQ comprised of all the usual’s: butchers selection sausages, beefy burgers and our chef’s own creation of rotisserie chicken and vegetable kebabs. For the vegetarians we also had some grilled halloumi skewers and lots of corn on the cobbs. We even made a mini feast for the dogs in the form of a couple of hot dogs for anyone who had been a good boy on their walk!

The Hog Roast Broughton Astley winter BBQ really went down a treat! People were so impressed that we were able to cater outdoors in weather such as this as most caterers wouldn’t be able to do this. However, for us it’s all down to our trusty machines and team of professional Hog roast Broughton Astley chefs. For us it was an event to remember and we are hoping to be invited back next year!
