As caterers we enjoy each and every event that we attend. In the summer months however is when wedding season really begins and we have to admit there is just something so fulfilling about being a part of someone’s special day and getting to do our bit to make sure everything runs smoothly and to the wishes of the happy couple.
This week Hog Roast Medbourne had the pleasure of catering at a local wedding at the beautiful Vickers Farm in Tilton on the Hill. The event had been booked by Laura who had asked us to arrive at the venue in plenty of time ahead of the reception to give us enough time to prepare. For this event catering manager Lee was on hand to ensure everything ran without a hitch and to schedule. We had been asked to prepare our classic Hog Roast Medbourne menu in addition to some roasted vegetable skewers, fresh pasta salad, a tomato and mozzarella salad, mixed salad and of course some hereby roasted potatoes to complete the meal. We had been briefed that there would be approximately one hundred and thirty guests and so one large pig would be sufficient and we made sure we got it on to roast first thing to give it plenty of time to become beautifully succulent and full of flavour!
As always we will endeavour to take care of as much or as little as you require and do what we can to help make your day that little bit less stressful (as we all know weddings can be). For this event we also provided the disposable cutlery and tableware in addition to creating some fantastic deserts. Hog Roast Medbourne prepared some vacherins of strawberries topped with moreish passion fruit cream and a tangy Lemon tart as the alternative.
With so much delicious food on offer we were sure that Laura would be impressed with our Hog Roast Medbourne and were happy to help the happy couple celebrate their day.
