Birthday parties make up a fairly large percentage of event types that are catered by Hog Roast Rothley, yet the team are always determined to please their clients. Birthday girl Teresa was very excited when she contacted the team; she wanted the catering for her 50th birthday party to be fun for all her guests.
Client Teresa worked closely with the Hog Roast Rothley team to select a menu that would be sure to enchant her guests. After consulting the team she selected Menu 3 for her event, customising it by choosing to use the teams wooden/bamboo crockery and cutlery for her guests.
Menu 3 includes lots of fabulous dishes for guests to enjoy, most notably a Hog Roast. This section of the buffet consisted of a slow roasted pig, complete with crispy crackling, stuffing and apple sauce. However, there were lots more dishes on offer to enjoy! Teresa made sure to include vegan and vegetarian options on her menu, these were grilled vegetable skewers and grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers. Alongside this there were also warm new potatoes in a herb butter, gluten free rolls with a selection of sauces and 3 freshly prepared salads (these were Chef’s choice). The food on offer would appeal to all tastes and Teresa was delighted that the cost of the catering package was within her budget.
On the day of the event Catering Manager Lee, assisted by Brad arrived at the clients home (the venue) several hours prior to the 8pm serving time. They set up the catering gazebo where they would freshly prepare and then serve the buffet to the 50 guests.
At 8pm the guests assembled for the buffet and were very taken with the delightful array of tasty treats that were on offer. After the buffet had been devoured Lee and Brad discreetly tidied away, taking with them all the rubbish they had made. Teresa was very happy with the work by Lee and Brad, and she thanked the whole Hog Roast Rothley team for making her birthday so special.
