Seeking a budget-friendly catering provider, Casey and Andrew were delighted with the value for money and exceptional service provided by Hog Roast Quorn. Our catering manager Byron guided the couple through every step of their journey with us, easing their concerns, answering questions, and customising the menu to their tastes, ensuring they had the perfect dining plan in place for their special day.
As new parents, Casey and Andrew greatly appreciated Byron’s guidance, which helped make the entire process as stress-free as possible. On the day of the christening, we arrived at the venue – an events hall located inside a nearby hotel – and got straight to work preparing the feast.
The couple had selected our BBQ Menu for the occasion, which we were asked to customise by adding desserts and charcuterie boards to provide the 200 guests with plenty of food. Byron and the crew quickly got to work, ensuring the beef burgers, sausages, chicken kebabs, and spareribs were grilled to perfection in time for the guests’ arrival at 2 pm.
To cater to non-meat-eaters, we also served veggie burgers and grilled veggie skewers, ensuring there was something delicious for everyone to enjoy. Freshly made chips and seasonal salads were served as sides, complementing the delicious main dishes perfectly.
The event space itself was adorned with pink and white balloons and flower arrangements, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Each dining table was elegantly dressed with crisp white linen, and Hog Roast Quorn placed bamboo boards topped with cold cuts, cheeses, and artisan bread in the middle of each dining table.
To satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth, a dessert buffet table was set up, featuring handmade profiteroles and sticky toffee pudding. As guests arrived, they were greeted with the aromatic smells and beautiful presentation of our menu. And as you already know everyone thoroughly enjoyed Hog Roast Quorn’s spread and had a brilliant time at the christening after-party!
