While it might be disappointing that the Lionesses never brought home the Women’s World Cup Trophy last month despite making it into the final after dominating the pitch against some of the world’s most talented teams, the journey they undertook has left us all incredibly proud. Multiple big-screen TVs broadcasted the world cup final, while English flags and football-themed decor adorned every corner. The pub’s menu also received a playful twist, featuring footie-themed cocktails that united fans in camaraderie and excitement.
Adding flavour and flair to this unforgettable event was Hog Roast Hungarton’s very own catering manager, Byron. With his culinary finesse, he masterfully crafted classic hog roast rolls. These featured tender pulled pork, crispy and bubbling crackling, sage and onion stuffing and applesauce and quickly became the highlight of the celebration.
