The high-profile charity, fronted by the beloved Pudsey Bear, which first launched in 1980 and aims to raise money for disadvantaged young people and children all over the UK, is a cause that millions of people can get behind, and last year the appeal raised a whopping £51 million!
This year, Children In Need will be taking place on Friday, the 18th of November. In fact, we were just recently hired to cover the catering for an upcoming Children In Need office party, which is being organised by Chantelle.
Chantelle’s company had tasked her with putting this party together for everyone in the building, which amounts to over 300 members of staff. With that many people to feed, the client was definitely in need of some professional assistance and was fortunate enough to find Hog Roast Meadowcroft Park in plenty of time.
The client found that our catering manager, Byron, was a breeze to work with, and he helped her to pick out an inclusive meal plan that offers something for everyone. The menu Chantelle has chosen is none other than our Gourmet BBQ Menu, which features a range of meat dishes, including handmade British beef burgers, chef’s own gourmet sausages, succulent chicken kebabs and BBQ meaty marinated spareribs.
In addition to these mouth-watering meats, Hog Roast Meadowcroft Park will be treating guests to a plant-based option of BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls and a selection of sides consisting of Greek salad, coleslaw and mixed fries.
Chantelle and her co-workers are excited to experience Hog Roast Meadowcroft Park’s incredible cooking first-hand, and with lots of party games planned, this event is certain to be a success!
